Great location, ground floor bedroom very smelly. Positive: Located in the picturesque old town the property is in an excellent location close to shops, restaurants and bars, the main town and the beach. It is well equipped and clean. Negative: We had a 3 year old with us, so use of the beautiful roof terrace was limited due to the steep open stairs leading from the living room, we did understand this before we booked. We did have to manage a number of cockroaches over the week in the kitchen on the ground floor and in the living area on level 3. Our main issue was the leaking shower in the ground floor bedroom area. A handyman did attend but couldn’t identify an issue so water leaked across the bedroom floor each time this shower was used throughout our one week stay. additionally, the horrible smell from the shower and bathroom sink drain in this room, made it a very unpleasant place to spend any time.

Nice property in a good location with a lovely roof terrace - some things that need improving but would return. Positive: Property was spacious and in a good location - easy to walk everywhere in Alicante. Negative: The downstairs bedroom was not as nice as the other 2 bedrooms. Bathroom was good with good water pressure but the bedroom had a slightly damp smell as there is insufficient ventilation, there were no bedside lights, there were no blinds on the internal windows so the room was very bright and the hairdryer seemed broken. The other bedrooms were much nicer in comparison. The front door is also really hard to use - there is a video for how to open the door and it’s needed - was very complicated and hard to use!

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Unterkunft – absolut empfehlenswert! Positive: Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Alicante zu erkunden, und die Dachterrasse ist ein echtes Highlight. Alles war gut ausgestattet und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Negative: Es gab eigentlich nichts Wesentliches zu bemängeln. Insgesamt war alles sehr angenehm.
